Who is responsible for your information
MRC Healthcare operates Bangkok Autism Care and is the data controller for information you share with us. This policy explains how we handle personal information in the context of Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
What we collect and why
We collect the contact details, your child's age and the message you send in an enquiry. You may also choose to share your child's diagnosis, assessments or other medical records for a case review. We use this information to review your child's case, answer your questions and provide the care you ask for. The enquiry form does not require you to attach medical records. Health information is sensitive personal data, and we ask for specific consent before collecting records for review, unless Thai law permits or requires another basis.
Children's information needs extra care
Please share information only if you are the child's parent, legal guardian or otherwise authorised to do so. We handle children's information with extra care and ask you to share only what is needed for the review. Consent to an enquiry is not consent to treatment or to every future use of your child's records.
Who can see it
Our medical team reviews your child's medical records. Staff who handle enquiries can see the contact information needed to arrange the review and reply. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties except where needed to provide care you have asked for, to operate the services used to receive and reply to your enquiry, or where required by law. We limit access to what each person needs for their role.
Storage and how long we keep information
We store information securely and limit access to authorised people. We keep it only as long as needed for the review or care you request, or as required by Thai law. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or make it no longer identifiable. No online service can promise absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access or correct your information, withdraw consent, or request deletion through our contact form or WhatsApp. We may need to check that you are authorised to make the request for your child. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful use. Some records may need to be kept under Thai law, and we will explain any limits that apply to your request.
WhatsApp and other services
If you contact us on WhatsApp, your messages are also processed by WhatsApp and Meta under their own privacy policies. These services may process information outside Thailand. You can ask our team for a different way to send documents before sharing any records. Email and website services also process information needed to deliver your enquiry and our reply.
Website analytics
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our website through interaction data, heatmaps and session recordings. Clarity may use cookies and process technical information such as browser, device and page activity. Microsoft processes this information under its privacy statement. We mask the enquiry form and its age menu in recordings, and do not send enquiry details as analytics events. Website analytics is separate from consent to use your details to reply to an enquiry.
