Some health conditions mean a child is not a suitable candidate at this time. Our medical team checks for these carefully.
We would rather tell you no than offer something that is not right for your child.

We look at developmental history, current therapies, and any medical conditions that affect suitability.
We explain what we found, whether an option may be appropriate, and what the limits are. You decide what comes next.
Good questions to ask any clinic, including us.
Autism affects how a child communicates, connects, and experiences the world. Some researchers are studying whether the immune system and inflammation play a part, and whether stem cell therapy may influence them.
Mesenchymal cells (cells from donated umbilical cord tissue), collected after healthy births and screened in a laboratory. No collection from the child is needed.
Studies are looking at how these cells may interact with inflammation and immune signaling, and whether that relates to how some children experience autism.
This field is still developing. Published studies are mostly small, and researchers continue to evaluate safety and long term effects.

The promising, the unclear and the disappointing. You deserve all of it.
Most published studies are small. That is why we say research is still early, and why we review every child individually.

180 children aged 2 to 7 received a single infusion of cord blood or a placebo. After six months, researchers found no significant difference between groups on the main measures of social communication.
Source [1]12 children aged 4 to 9 received umbilical cord tissue cells. Researchers concluded the infusions appeared safe and feasible, and said a placebo controlled trial is needed to test whether they help.
Source [2]Pooled 5 controlled studies with 325 children. The authors said results were mixed, the studies were small and varied in method, and larger standardized trials are needed before routine clinical use.
Source [3]Reviewed clinical trial data on cell therapy approaches to autism and concluded the field needs larger, well controlled trials.
Source [4]More trials are underway, including at Duke University [5]. We update this page as new results are published.
Cell therapy replaces speech, behavioral, or occupational therapy.
It is being explored as a possible supportive option alongside them. Established therapies remain the foundation of care.
Every child can receive cell therapy.
Many children are not suitable candidates. Our medical team reviews each case individually before any option is discussed.
Cell therapy is a cure for autism.
Autism is a lifelong difference in how the brain develops. Cell therapy is not a cure, and no specific result can be guaranteed.
Take time to ask questions and make space for your child's comfort. A consultation is a chance to understand the options, not a commitment to proceed.

Clinic registration does not establish approval of a specific stem cell procedure for autism or guarantee a benefit. Continue speech, occupational, educational and other individualised support.
Our program is for children aged 4 and up. Age alone does not decide suitability: our medical team reviews your child's records and individual needs first. You can start with a free review and ask questions before deciding on any next step.

Our programme welcomes children aged 4 and up, but age is only one part of the picture. Here is how our medical team thinks about suitability.
